"My two kids and I had a fabulous morning with Ricardo in Akumal. He looked after us as soon as we got off the collectivo and made sure we had the best time ever. He made sure the kids were looked after so well too and made sure they had a buoyancy aid to hold onto when swimming out. We saw so many turtles including a baby, a ray and a puffer fish as well as loads more. I really couldn't recommend him and his tours enough. Five star day! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

Frequently asked questions

Do I need fishing experience?

No. The crew rigs the gear, shows you the technique and helps you when a fish bites.

What can we catch?

Mahi-mahi, wahoo, sailfish and marlin, depending on the season. It’s real open-water fishing, so catches can’t be guaranteed.

How many hours should I book?

3 hours gives you the full experience. If you want to go further and have more chances, choose 4 or 5 hours.

Can I bring my own drinks?

Yes, alcohol too, at no extra cost. There’s a cooler with ice on board.

What happens to my catch?

Back in the bay the crew cleans and fillets it, in case you’d like a local restaurant to cook it for you.

What if the weather is bad?

If the authorities close the port due to waves or wind, we give you another date or a full refund.
