🌴Rules🌞

1) Swimming and observing sea turtles is only permitted from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

2) Snorkeling sessions may not exceed 55 minutes.

3) Entry to and exit from the visitor area must be done calmly by walking along the beach.

4) Tourists may only use the exclusive routes and schedules established by CONANP.

5) The activity will be conducted in groups of no more than 6 people plus a guide authorized by CONANP. Life jackets are mandatory (to prevent total submersion).

6) The minimum distance between groups participating in the activity must be 10 meters (33 feet).

7) Tourists must maintain a minimum distance of 3 meters (10 feet) from the rear of each turtle, without exceeding a 5-minute observation time.

🌴protection for the ocean🌞

1) Camera flash is prohibited. Only recreational underwater cameras/videos are permitted. Camera poles should not be placed too close to the turtles.

2) During the snorkeling trip, it is strictly forbidden to touch, feed, disturb, hold, remove, grab, or damage any marine life.

3) If a turtle shows signs of rapid movement, evasion, sudden changes of direction, or prolonged dives, the observation activities will be immediately suspended.

4) The use of sunscreen, even biodegradable sunscreen, is not permitted.

Please note that each private activity you wish to undertake has an additional cost of 150 pesos per person. This amount only applies to the turtle and cenote tours. The difference is paid in cash at the meeting point. Thank you very much for your attention, and we wish you a good day.
